Our Mission
BHRC's mission is multifaceted, encompassing several key objectives:
Advocacy and Awareness: We strive to raise awareness about human rights issues through advocacy campaigns, educational programs, and community outreach initiatives. By fostering dialogue and promoting understanding, we aim to build a more inclusive and rights-conscious society.
Policy Engagement: BHRC actively engages with policymakers, government agencies, and international organizations to advocate for policy reforms that strengthen human rights protections and ensure accountability for human rights violations.
Legal Support: Our organization provides legal aid and support to individuals and communities facing human rights abuses. We offer guidance, representation, and access to justice to empower victims and promote accountability for perpetrators.
Research and Documentation: BHRC conducts research, collects data, and produces comprehensive reports on human rights issues, contributing valuable insights to the discourse on human rights in India.
